Unlike regular PV monitoring apps, it focuses on your whole home - revealing how you use energy, including your most power-hungry devices. It translates kilowatts into more relatable money and carbon savings. You also get tips for changes you can make to further reduce your energy bills.
What happens in a power outage?
SunPower Reserve comes with built-in backup to keep your home running during a power cut.
When SunPower Reserve detects a power outage, it switches to backup power in less than 20 milliseconds. It will also keep your solar panels running too (regular solar shuts down to protect the grid) so if the sun is shining you can keep on storing and using that energy while the grid is down.
Can SunPower Reserve be retrofitted to an existing PV system?
Yes, SunPower Reserve can be coupled with and is fully compatible with every PV system. Pair it with the Performance 7 DC panel for maximum performance.
